I think that I shall never see
A thing more lovely than middle C.
It’s perched so neatly below the staff,
Resembling the head of a giraffe.
But it’s really more than middle C,
Music is a part of me.
Piano, trumpet, chorus, too,
I only hope for more to do.
Pounding on those eighty-eights,
Allows me to escape,
To a place more fun than school,
In fact, it is really cool.
Under the wing of Mr. Travis,
I sing and learn of music, that is,
I "la la la" and hit those highs,
While pondering his musical ties.
Then, of course, there’s Mr. Loest,
Who leads the band that is the most!
With his guidance and his skill,
My trumpet makes a sound so shrill.
And so I thank these music men,
For sharing their music again and again.
Thank you also for your time,
I hope you’ve enjoyed my little rhyme.

The original Tomb Raider was one of the best computer adventure games of all time. The sequel is going to be even better. There are many additions to make this game better than the first. In the first game when you shoot, there is only a small, dull flash. When you shoot your weapon in Tomb Raider 2, there is a bright, realistic flash that can light up almost any room.
Also in the second game, Lara, the hero of the game, is actually able to climb walls. The levels are longer and much harder then they were in the first one. There are also more encounters with realistic humans in the game, and they are much smarter.
New weapons include automatic pistols, harpoon guns, rocket launchers, M-16’s, and flares. If you thought the enemies in Tomb Raider were cool, check the new ones out: warrior monks, yetis, jaguars, great white sharks, killer eels, rabid Dobermans, and vicious spiders. Tibet, China, Venice, and a sunken ship are many of the new worlds in Tomb Raider 2. Lara also goes mountain climbing, rides a boat, and drives a snowmobile.

Mario Kart 64 was expected to be big. It was released slightly after Mario 64 came out and it has not been as popular. The object is to avoid many obstacles and win a race. Some of the racecourses have odd names such as Frappie Snowland or Moo Moo Farm. You can also get various items to help you win the race such as sea shells to knock your opponents off the course. If you finish in first, second or third place you receive a cup. The three different types of races, from easy to difficult, are the 50 class, the 100 class, and the 150 class. If you earn all gold cups on the 150 class you get something special, a new starting gate and the courses will change. There are short cuts on the course, but they are hard to get at. When you start on the Rainbow Road course, turn to the left and you will go off the course and down a steep hill. Keep going until you see the race course again.

The Visitor is a new television series about a 1940's pilot who was abducted by aliens. Fifty years later, he escapes and heads back to Earth to help people and keep mankind from destroying itself. Along the way he eludes the FBI and a special government agency, the NSA. This is a great show if you like science-fiction. Great special effects and a excellent story line make this show very enjoyable.

Sim City 2000
Maxis has a wide selection of games like Sim City 2000, Sim Town, and Sim Tower. One of the most popular is Sim City 2000. It has great graphics and sounds, and just because it is only a one player game it is still fun to play. Your goal is to create a entire city from scratch. It gives you a wide choice of buildings and high rises, and if you get the cathedral you get the Arcologise, which are large buildings that look very futuristic. This is a great game.

SimTower
Sim tower is very similar to Sim City and also has good graphics and sound. The main goal of this game is to win the cathedral which is placed on the top of your building. You can build subway trains, restaurants, and shopping malls for the people. You can also include your own name among the occupants and pick where you will live. For every person there is information board that contains their stress level and where and what level they live on. During Christmas if you go all the way to the top of the screen you will see Santa clause flying across the sky and receive presents. If you dig below your building you can find treasure chests. And if you aren’t lucky you could have a fire or a bomb threat. I definitely recommend this game to others.
