Prairie Rock Restaurant offers pricey but tasty food On Monday, May 14, my sister, mom and I had dinner at Prairie Rock Restaurant in Schaumburg. It wasn't crowded since it was a Monday. I ordered a salad and mashed potatoes. My sister had the California Salad, and my mom had the BBQ Salmon Fillet. My food was pretty tasty. The service was very good. Prairie Rock Restaurant was kid friendly but rather expensive. I thought that the atmosphere was really cool and cozy. When I was looking around they had a guestroom with a fireplace. There are two floors. On the top floor, there is a very nice waiting area. I would go back to the Prairie Rock Restaurant. MK vs WH For a long time, there has been one figurine game on the market, Warhammer. Now, a new game, Mage Knight, challenges Warhammer's monopoly. First things first. A figurine game is a war game that is played with figurines and cards. Now with that cleared up, I will tell you about Warhammer. Warhammer, which has been around for a while, is made by Games Workshop. It is set in a fantasy world. In that world, you command armies of elves, dwarves, orcs and such. There are several branch versions of the Warhammer game, including the popular Warhammer 40,000, which is set in the future. Warhammer has many pieces, and new ones are introduced every month. There are also many different rules for various pieces. This enables you to come up with all sorts of different strategies. The pieces come to you unpainted, so you have to paint them. Warhammer has one shortcoming, however. It's expensive. The starter set costs $70, paints cost $20, and new figures cost $10 to $20 dollars a pack. If you like games like Starcraft, Warhammer is for you. Mage Knight was developed by a company in Bloomingdale, Illinois and is increasing in popularity. It too is set in a fantasy world. The unique thing about Mage Knight is the figures' base. The bases have the figure's statistics on them, eliminating the need for lookup books. The bases also turn whenever a figure gets hit with another figure's attack, giving the game more depth. There is an extremely short rulebook so Mage Knight only takes fifteen minutes to learn. The figures come painted. There are three hundred figures and packs cost $7. There are a few stupid rules, but it's still a great game. Eighth grader, Paul N., who plays WH 40K, likes it because of the larger selection of figures. Seventh grader Pat L. likes the tanks in WH 40K. Sixth grader T.J H. plays MK, and thinks that there are cool pieces. T.J.'s classmate, Jacek M. likes the various special abilities that MK pieces have. Conclusion: start out by playing MK. When you have saved up your allowance, and have some experience, you might want to play Warhammer.

The other band members are Wes's younger brother Scott Borland (The Cardboard Urinal) on guitar, their long time friend Kyle Weeks (The Three Headed Demetrian Pup) on drums, and Chris Gibbs (Moivet O'sphelvey) on bass. A side project, BDF kept Wes Borland busy in-between Limp Bizkit and during many of the tours. BDF's debut CD, Duke Lion Fights The Terror!! came out on March 6,2001. This album has a mixture of almost every instrument and goofy sounds. You will appreciate Duke Lion Fights The Terror!! if you like a lot of different sounds and instruments.

May the Force be with you, you'll need it! I know last time I reviewed a Star Wars game, but this game is quite a bit different from Jedi Power Battles. Star Wars Demolition begins when the mighty Jabba the Hutt holds a great demolition derby. By attracting gamblers to Tatooine, you can become a bounty hunter, mercenary, Jedi Knight or Rebel soldier. Your character has a vehicle and weapon that only you can use. To win the grand prize (Republican Credits) you must destroy your opponent's vehicle. You can do this by using standard lasers, or special weapons such as concussion missiles, tractor beams, proton torpedoes,or thermal detonators. If your weapon power is high enough you can charge it to a super stage. It becomes a lot more powerful. You earn credits by shooting your opponent with your special weapon or its super stage. If your vehicle takes a lot of damage, you have to pay between 100-400 credits to put your vehicle back in fighting condition for the next derby. You begin with the following characters: Aurra Sing, Boba Fett, and Quagga, who are all bounty hunters. Wade Vox is a Jedi Knight and Tia and Ghia are both rebel pilots. General Otto is a gambler. After you win the grand prize for each of the previously listed characters, you watch a cool cinematic and then you unlock three new characters: Wittin, Tamtel Skreej, and Pugwis, who are all gamblers. After you beat the game with these characters, you unlock the deadly Rancor, a huge gruesome creature to whom Jabba feeds his enemies and debtors to. You can choose from the following arenas in which to battle. The Dune Sea where the hungry Sarlacc lives as it digests it's prey for 1,000 years (don't fall into the pit in which it lives!). Mos Eisly, a small town which has no real hazards, is perfect for beginners. Naboo, a historic planet in Star Wars Episode 1, now uses its memorial stadium to host Jabba's deadly competition. Degobah, the former home of the wise Yoda, is crawling with lethal life forms that start to gnaw on your vehicle if you stop moving. Cloud City, a popular vacation spot above the toxic planet Bespin, has many hazards, so beware! The surface of the nearly completed second Death Star is the most dangerous arena. If you get trapped in the path of the famous laser that can destroy an entire planet, it's game over! For Star Wars fans everywhere, this game would be an excellent addition to any collection. Difficulty: Easy Medium Hard Control: 9 Graphics:10 Sound: 8 Game play:9 Overall:9
